The Learn Engine connects learning signals, tutoring, and course improvement. Use learner results to identify a specific problem, then review a course change before releasing it.
Review what happened
Analytics can show progress, time spent, quiz answers, confidence, and project results. Start with a question about a named course or group. For example, ask the Workspace Assistant:
In Customer onboarding, which quiz questions have the most incorrect answers? Show the evidence before suggesting changes.
A score records performance on the configured assessment. Time and activity counts record participation; they do not establish understanding by themselves.
Give learners useful support
Creators choose which adaptive features a course permits:
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Course personalization | Adapts reading examples using the learner's goals and answers. |
| Proactive Tutor | Offers optional help or recognition when configured evidence rules permit it. |
| Adaptive Courses — Beta | Proposes additional topics that the learner accepts before they are added. |
| Retention and refreshers | Revisits configured earlier goals during the course or through follow-up checks. |
| Study banks | Schedules item reviews from recall ratings or supports free practice. |
These features have separate controls. Check the intended learner journey before enabling them for a course.
Improve the shared course
- Identify a specific gap from learner work or feedback.
- Open the course beside the Workspace Assistant.
- Ask for a focused revision using the approved sources.
- Check the changed explanation, practice, and answer keys in Preview.
- Save and apply the reviewed draft.
- Follow the catalog review policy when publishing to a catalog.
For example:
Add a worked example before the escalation quiz. Use our escalation checklist and keep the policy thresholds unchanged.
An authorized Agent or Automation can help run recurring checks within its configured access. A check or source refresh does not itself publish a new course revision.
Check the next result
After release, compare later learner work with the problem you identified. Use independent answers and project evidence alongside completion, time, and feedback.
Follow Learning, practice, and progress for the learner flow. See Analytics and reporting and Publishing and review for the improvement workflow.
